About
A designer across
land, structure & screen
I'm originally from small-town Missouri, with roots in Mansfield and Maryville. Growing up around construction gave me an early appreciation for craftsmanship, materials, and the process of turning an idea into something real. That experience sparked my interest in design and eventually led me toward landscape architecture.
I graduated from UNLV with a degree in landscape architecture and now create conceptual work across landscape, architecture, and rural development. I enjoy taking projects from early sketches and site studies through detailed drawings and visualizations, with a particular interest in rural settings, regional character, and the relationship between structures and the land around them.
Outside of design, I write horror novels, television series, and animation. Writing gives me another way to create places, shape atmosphere, and build memorable worlds through character and story. When I'm not designing or writing, I'm usually following sports, especially football, basketball, hockey, UFC, and just about anything competitive.
Design philosophy
My landscape and architectural work is rooted in the idea of controlled wildness, balancing natural disorder with deliberate structure. I'm drawn to spaces that feel untamed but intentional, where rugged materials, native systems, and thoughtful geometry create places that belong to their environment.
My writing explores a darker terrain. Through horror, television, animation, and fiction, I build gritty worlds shaped by tension, flawed characters, and unsettling truths, finding the humanity that survives beneath the shadows.
